Wings to fly...

She gave me wings
So that we could fly
But I chose to walk
And we said good-bye

I travelled as one
With no one by my side
I said I didn't need her
But I knew that I had lied

The road became long
As I travelled all alone
Wishing for her company
And the love she'd once shown

As I travelled back
That deserted lonely road
I knew she'd be waiting
To help carry my load

In search for those wings
She'd once tried to give
I saw she wasn't waiting
She had her own life to live

When I had chosen to walk
She'd gone her own way
The chance I had was lost
There was nothing I could say

There was nothing I could do
But take to the road again
Trying to move on
Forgetting what might have been

Journeying down that road
I lifted my eyes up to the sky
And saw her flying with another
Where I once had the chance to fly

Love in my words:

Love for me is much more than I can express it in simple words.Well,my love has ended in marriage. When we were not married I had written this few lines in my diary which I would like to share: "When the sun has hid itself from the cold mist of the night and fear has struck all beings except for the one who’s waiting, I shall stand my ground and wait because only time will tell us when our hearts will meet and be together in one accord, there will be no more shadows and no more doubts, only sparks of jubilation radiating from the eyes, all fear is cast away, the dread of past is long forgotten, the future is left undecided and the present is all that matters. I believe that love can last a lifetime and that the heart can tell when love is real-- I believe in daring to take chances and coming out and saying what I feel. I believe in passionate embraces in promises, in all the sweet, unspoken possibilities. I believe in holding on to happiness, in doing what my heart tells me to do-- I believe that love can last a lifetime and I want to spend that lifetime loving him. So, whatever I believed has come true and after getting married I have experienced my love has grown stronger and deeper, my love has grown brighter and purer... my heart has shown, hour after hour, and day by day... as time passes, my love does not fade. My love for him... will continue to grow. We’ve come so far, with much further to go. Happiness awaits, forget fears. So, I think to see life from near one should fall in Love......
